Ideal for advanced physics lessons, this Perrin Teltron Tube enables students to observe and investigate the behaviour of cathode rays and the effects of electric and magnetic fields. Designed for Key Stage 5 and college use, it supports practical demonstrations of fundamental atomic physics concepts.
This highly evacuated electron tube features a focusing electron gun, a fluorescent screen for clear beam visibility, and an integrated Faraday pail for charge experiments.
Includes spherical glass body with cylindrical neck and diode electron gun
Fluorescent screen set at 45° for easy observation of electron paths
Maximum filament voltage: =7.5V AC/DC; Maximum anode voltage: 5 kV; Maximum capacitor voltage: 500 V
Typical operation: Anode current 1.8mA, Beam current 4µA at 4000V
Connections via 4mm sockets and plugs for straightforward setup
