Description |
- The Basic Electricity Kit has been designed as a low-cost, attractive and flexible alternative to the circuit-board approach to pupil investigations into simple circuits. Each component such as a switch, rheostat, bulb holder etc, is mounted on its own individual plastic panel with 4mm sockets. The panels are then formed into circuits by connecting them together using 4mm stackable leads. Because this is real circuit making, the equipment will find users throughout secondary school science curricula. Each kit is supplied in two polystyrene trays which keep the units organised. br /Contents br /12 cell holders (without cells)br /4 changeover switchesbr /20 bulb holders and 40 bulbs (4.5V, 0.3A)br /4 electrode holdersbr /8 soft iron rodsbr /12 4mm leads red 10cm and 12 4mm leads black 10cmbr /4 4mm leads red 25cm and 4 4mm leads black 25cmbr /50m copper wire bare 20 swgbr /50g Eureka wire bare 34 swgbr /50m insulated copper wirebr /1 sheet copper foil 150 X 150mmbr /4 universal clips and Twelve carbon rods br /4 rheostat unitsbr /1 pack steel woolbr /8 crocodile clips and 8 push switchesbr /4 silicon diodesbr /4 fixed resistors and 2 polystyrene storage traysbr /1 teachers book and 2 pupils books
