VALUE ADDED TAX
Standard delivery is 5 - 7 working days. The prices shown in this catalogue exclude VAT. VAT will be charged at the appropriate rate on all applicable products and shown separately on your invoice. Educational establishments will normally be able to reclaim VAT.

PACKAGING, CARRIAGE AND HANDLING

Carriage
For all destinations in the UK a carriage charge of £6.95 will apply. Living, preserved and perishable materials supplied by our specialists at Philip Harris Biological require additional packaging and special carriage, therefore carriage will be applied at cost.

Chemicals
Each of the following chemicals has an additional carriage surcharge of £8 per item A68834 and A68846 (Lithium), A69279 and F77741 (Methanol), A71092 (Sodium) and L19434 (Group 1 Metals Collection). Please note that we cannot offer a 24 hour delivery service on these chemicals.

For an explanation on the carriage of chemicals please refer to Philip Harris Secondary page 492. Chemicals ordered by customers not on the UK mainland will be subject to an additional carriage charge at cost.

Offshore (Outside UK mainland)
The charges above apply to all deliveries within the UK mainland. For UK customers offshore, delivery is by arrangement and additional charges will apply.

Urgent Orders
All orders from our Nottingham Warehouse will normally be dispatched within 3 days from the receipt of your order and will be delivered to your establishment 3-5 days later. If you require express delivery please place your order before 11am we will then organise express delivery at an additional cost of £9.95(+VAT).

For all deliveries we will be pleased to advise you of the likely delivery period. However, the company will not be responsible for any subsequent delays in delivery. Also Express Delivery may not be applicable for some large furniture items and equipment.

Telephone & Faxed Orders
Orders sent by post to confirm telephone and faxed orders must be clearly identified as "CONFIRMATION ORDER ONLY" we cannot accept any responsibility or associated costs for duplicated orders if this procedure is not followed.

PRICES
Prices in this catalogue will remain fixed until 31st December 2008 unless circumstances beyond our control dictate otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice throughout the life of the catalogue. Prices charged will be those in force at the date of receipt of the customers order. Prices are strictly nett.

PAYMENT
Unless otherwise agreed payment is due within 30 days of invoice. Payment should be made to Findel Education Ltd and sent to :

You may pay invoices either by cheque or by BACS. If you wish to pay by BACS please contact our Finance Department for the relevant bank account details.
The company reserves the right to charge interest on all overdue accounts at the rate of 2.5% per month.

TITLE TO GOODS
Ownership (title) of the goods only passes to the purchaser on full payment of the appropriate invoice.

GOODS
Goods contained in this catalogue are offered subject to availability.

RETURNING GOODS
It is essential to contact our customer service department before returning any goods for whatever reason.
If goods are genuinely ordered in error, the company will discuss with the customer arrangements for returning goods. In instances where this is agreed the company will levy a charge for handling, packing and delivery.
The company cannot accept responsibility for goods returned without prior arrangement.

DELIVERY DISCREPANCIES
Although we make every effort to avoid them, there may be occasions when deliveries contain goods which have been damaged in transit, or contain wrong items, or have items missing.

To help our Customer Service Department provide a speedy and efficient service we would request that you always check the number of parcels received at the time of delivery. Check the contents of the cartons carefully and should there be a problem with the consignment please ensure you report this to our Customer Service Department within three working days of receipt, quoting your Account Number and delivery note number.

Should an expected consignment or part of a consignment not arrive please notify the company within 14 days of the invoice date. Any claims made outside of this period may not be accepted.

Please do not attempt to return any goods without prior authorisation as we cannot accept liability for unsolicited returns. In the event of a query, contact our Customer Service Department who will advise you how to proceed.

DIRECT DELIVERIES
Please note that all chemicals are delivered direct to customers from our chemical supplier and will be dispatched and invoiced separately. A small number of items are made to order and supplied direct from the manufacturer. In these cases a delivery of 6 - 8 weeks should be allowed. Delivery is to the nearest point of entry and does not include positioning on site.

NON ACCOUNT HOLDERS
Goods can be supplied on a cash with order basis, against a pro-forma invoice, or by MasterCard or Visa Credit Cards. Please contact our Customer Service Department for details. An administration charge will be applicable. No orders for chemicals or hazardous materials can be accepted. A minimum order charge will apply.

UK TRADE SALES
Customers who wish to purchase for onward resale are asked to please contact our Customer Service Department.
