B8R02136

Product code: B8R02136

The PicoScope 2204a oscilloscope has a bandwidth of 10Mhz, it is 2 channel, PC based, compact, lightweight oscilloscope, which is an excellent alternative to benchtop devices. You can fit the 2204a, 10 MHz, 1 GS/s instrument easily inside your laptop bag! It is perfect for engineers on the move; ideal for a wide range of applications including education, service, monitoring, fault finding, and repair. A small form factor is not the only benefit of these PC-based scopes. With our PicoScope 6 software, high-end features such as serial decoding and mask limit testing are included as standard.

New functionality is regularly delivered through free upgrades, optimized with the help of feedback.

The PicoScope 2204a features:

  • 10Mhz bandwidth
  • All 'A' models supplied with 2-test probes suitable for bandwidth of model version
  • Built in spectrum analyser
  • Advanced digital triggers
  • Built in function generator arbitrary waveform generator
  • Serial decoding
  • USB powered
  • Ultra compact design
  • Operates on windows and Linux systems
  • Dimensions: 142 x 92 x 19mm
  • Designed to EN 61010-1:2010
  • A compact alternative to a standard Oscilloscope.
  • Direct connection to a laptop or computer for visualisation of waves.
  • Software is regularly updated with new features.
  • Key Stage 3 Physics - Waves:  Frequencies of sound waves, measured in hertz (Hz); echoes, reflection and absorption of sound.  Sound produced by vibrations of objects, in loudspeakers, detected by their effects on microphone diaphragm and the ear drum; sound waves are longitudinal. Pressure waves transferring energy; use for cleaning and physiotherapy by ultrasound; waves transferring information for conversion to electrical signals by microphone.  Sound needs a medium to travel, the speed of sound in air, in water, in solids.
  • Key Stage 4 Physics - Waves: Wave Motion, transverse and longitudinal waves
  • Key Stage 4 Physics - Motion and Forces: Estimate speeds encountered in everyday experience (e.g. Speed of Sound).
