This Speed of Sound Kit includes everything you need to measure the speed of sound in the classroom.
This kit provides a direct method to measure the speed of sound. Timing to microsecond accuracy is started and stopped as sound passes the sound switches. A small hammer and metal plate is included in the kit to make the necessary sharp sound.
The Multi-Timer has many other applications e.g. measurement of g by free-fall, speed and motion, etc. The full kit of accessories (PP060200) is also available.
