This basic compound microscope is suitable for basic microscopy and beginners. It offers enhanced LED illumination, combining the advantages of an incident light (specimen is lit from above), and a transmission light (lit from underneath to enable light to pass through the specimen) - both lights can be operated separately. This microscope has a 10x wide field eye piece mounted at a 45 degree angle for comfort. The triple nosepiece features 4x, 10x, 40x objectives with a total magnification of 400x. The fixed condenser N.A. 0,65 is provided with a six aperture disc diaphragm to adjust the amount of light coming through the specimen slide. The most components such as the stand are made of sturdy plastic.
